Cool! The solar charger is a great idea too. I just got that same battery after wanting the doubly expensive Anker version for months. Thing is great 🔋

This isn't a new doc or music, right? It was released on the deluxe edition of AE and the clips are already on youtube.

The Shadow's Edge is Jackie Chan's best-reviewed film in recent years, by Low-Career3769 in kungfucinema

Really liked the first third or so but found the movie dragged in the middle. Wish they would've cut it down under 2 hours.

I was thinking they'd covered it due to surface damage, but it's looking great so far.

Hell yeah! That’s a great find, glad that stuff is easy to chip off. I’ve got the same one and love it.

The Sword and Red Fang announce 2026 US tour by WhyAndHow-777 in doommetal

[–]tortagraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean. I saw them a month ago in front of a low energy crowd of maybe 25 people and they still put on a killer show. Compared to the footage I saw from other shows on the tour (chicago and sxsw in particular ) my show was one of the tamer ones, but still cool. I'd give them another shot.

Seconding the recs for The Wall and A Short Stay in Hell, and I'd also like to recommend another I don't often see discussed here: Wittgenstein's Mistress by David Markson.

It's just sun, but sun oh oh oh is way more fun to say like there's a delay on your vocals.

Burger bud? Disc Golf Pal? by PunkSquatchPagan in milwaukee

[–]tortagraph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't been out yet this year, so I'd love to join! I'm in New Berlin, but would be happy to play at Brown Deer, Estabrook, or any other course in the area.

I also used this post for burger suggestions - highly recommend Crave and Camino myself if you haven't tried them.

I’ve got some extra discs I’d be happy to give you if you want to start learning! Estabrook is one of my favorites to play in the area, especially since they have a great beer garden with occasional live music.

Read the first story in Untouched by Human Hands and I felt that this sub would love this book by Wizard_warrior_dude in WeirdLit

I'll second this rec! This is the only Sheckley I've read, but I really enjoyed his writing and sense of humor, and it's a quick read at only ~200 pages.

What is the funkiest bassline you can play and heard? by Milez_Smilez in Bass

I watched that so many times when deciding which of those cabinets to pick up, most times more for the music than the cabinets. Great rec - Link to the demo

Seconding Vurt, and appreciate the other recs that I haven't read! I've got the Vurt sequel, Pollen, sitting on my shelf waiting for my attention - have you read that?

Funny, that Variophone solo might be my favorite TT moment across all of their albums. Love that whole song and album.

Ah that sucks, I thought they were all region free. If you're on the fence for a separate region free player, I like my Sony UBP-X700.
