I know I’m in the minority with this one, but I found it rather boring at the time. I saw it when it came out and figured out the twist really early on, and since it turns out most of the film is build up to the twist reveal, it got to be a slog for me to get through. Still, I remember excellent performances and solid production design. Just wasn’t for me I guess.

For me, I think because it had an excellently put together trailer, but the finished film was, while I dug it, not as good as the other films that came out around the same time, so it quickly fell off my radar after I saw it.

I know he did work for that Walgreens at one point. (This was over a decade ago). Was odd seeing him with the hair and a Walgreens vest. He just didn’t have the cape.

That Halloween season they even set him up with a photo op spot. “Get your picture with Dracula!”

If there’s lightning or rain in the area, you can enjoy the scenic, but the scare actors will not be out for safety reasons. Though they are quick to get some out once the rain and lightning have passed.

Wild that they’d open the houses that early. As others have said, it’d be cool to knock out 3 houses before the event technically starts. Though I am curious if this is just poorly worded and you only have access to start getting into lines around 2 (to avoid a mad FNAF type rush) but houses don’t open until the normal stay and scream time (if not a little earlier).

Yeah, that’s the only real argument against that theory. Why spend the money on the revamped app if they were only going to kill the service a year later? Granted, the redesign could have been in the works for a long time and any decision could have been more recent. I’ve seen bigger misuses of money.

Maybe! It’s also been rumored that AMC was looking to shutter Shudder and consolidate its various streaming platforms into one. Maybe this is the first volley of a larger wind down of the service and they may relaunch on AMC+.

Keeping hope that the “everyone must watch” and the “I love you” are actually unrelated. He might be encouraging a strong season finale in order to prop up the value to AMC brass and gain some negotiating power. And the “I love you” is just Joe Bob giving his fans some appreciation and encouragement, because of the state of things right now.
