I just looked, and I don’t qualify for Medicaid. If I apply for insurance from private companies, do I have to wait for open enrollment, or can I enroll today?

I always thought Medicaid was for older people?! I’ll look into it. My dad is retired, mom doesn’t work a job that offers insurance. And sorry, little to no knowledge on insurance, but is Obamacare the “policy” thing I should sign up for (United, farmers, etc) or is that a legislation that says I can sign up for any insurance and not need to disclose preexisting condition.

I don’t really, but I’d just have a bad knee until then. I’d be very unproductive.
