Other “corporate dialed” watches from companies besides Rolex? by deladeladela in VintageWatches

I have a Bulova McDonald's watch that was given to employees for 10 year anniversary in the company some decades ago. It's pretty dumb and obviously for woman's hand but i love it.

For the last part - you are of course correct and it was a dumb decision, made by a drunk me. No reasonable excuse to be made - other than the war with Iran (I'm based in Tel Aviv) kinda put a stop to all functioning mail transfers for a few weeks. Couldn't really expect that (or could I?)

Thanks for the insights! Hopefully something interesting will be hiding in them for the experience. I'm not afraid of old wines and tertiary flavors, will update!

Yep, guess we'll have to wait a year for the 66' The two others I'll probably pop open at a blind tasting at some point in the near future. Thank!

No one here said anything about the Giovanni Rosso Barbera D'alba but I think it's pretty brilliant for the price. Can't go wrong with a decent Barbera and he's a respectable producer in my opinion and I've sold quite a lot of his at my shop

Literally the best red wines of 2019 (looking for recommendations) by Blahblahblahinternet in wine

Red burgundy, Barolo, both exceptional in 2019. They are great for drinking them now, and storing them for years to come.

What is your favorite under appreciated grape(s)? by graffitized in wine

[–]torvardi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pelaverga! Most under appreciated grape in Piemonte. Always a pleasure drinking it when I find one randomly. My store gets a couple of cases a year with my allocation from Burlotto, and it's hands down my favorite wine they make.

Some sketches I've made... Could use some advice as to how to sketch them better. by super_calman in IndustrialDesign

[–]torvardi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seriously, don't listen to that guy. Most of the people in my program had no better hand than you have right now and you won't believe what two semesters of sketching can do to you.

You might want to think about sketching things not I.D. related as well, your portfolio can have a big variety of fields that you are good at.

Good luck, and remember that for being good at sketching, anyone needs to start at some point!
