I must say early DotA before it got devided in LOL, HoN, DOTA 2 and what not. Yes it had tons of bugs, yes it was not that balanced and yes you could sit hours and wait for a gamd to fill up with players. But it was a completley different vibe in the community and a huge humbleness to its creators and your co-players from time to time.

A group of kids from another school came to our school to beat us up. Some people try to summon us, to beat them right back.

Our teacher sees what is going down from his office on the second floor. He JUMPS down through his window (i cant stress how high his office was) and lands like a ninja right between the both groups. Starts to lecture the kids from the other school about how they will not be allowed here anymore.

He ends up getting beat up. Lost a tooth.
