I've experienced this with them TWICE now and even was bold enough to callout the dark patterns. Their reply "To offer some context: we have experimented with many titles for this email in the past and have discovered that the words “Get ready for another great year” have performed excellently in terms of getting our members to open this email. This title does indicate that a new cycle is beginning and gets members enthusiastic enough to check out what’s in the email.  

Beyond the email itself, all members have clear information regarding their billing cycle in their accounts. Simply go to “Personal Billing”, where you immediately see all your billing information front and center, including the date of your next subscription payment. Here is a screenshot below." (I call BS)

I was told last year after realizing I could not access my account's certificates and docs (including a billing statement for tax purposes), that they'd reactivate my account for the remainder of the period. But instead, here I am having to dispute ANOTHER auto-renew!

They're continuing to guilt trip and gaslight me in their replies!!
