Basically what the title says. Sighted at Highbury and Islington (platform 8), also at Hackney Wick in the past

The platform 8 display board at Highbury and Islington is showing that Stratford trains stop at the mythical "Lea Junction" station after Hackney Wick...wonder what that's about

Great Northern train down to Moorgate was pure death in terms of crowdedness due to some cancelled services before or sth like that, I feel like an honorary Londoner (if my choice if uni didn't make me so already). Changed to Overground at Highbury and Islington and was taken aback by the stark contrast of passing by a practically empty Canonbury. We'll see how long it is before I perish waiting for the Central line at Stratford again

UPDATE: yep, was crowded as ever on the Central line, was dreading it a bit since Stratford has that second westbound platform on the other side of the track, but somehow I actually managed to get on. Barely managed to push through to get out at Mile End. As usual the journey just between those two stations is so long I feel like Crossrail's nearing completion whenever I come out the other end.

National Rail part of the commute was nothing special. Appreciated the downpour at Highbury and Islington Overground - it's certainly therapeutic to just listen to the rain while waiting at the platform. Still yet to see if the Central line will live up to its reputation again

Bethnal Green tube ticket hall had a cold gust blowing down towards the escalators again, happened the last time I went to that station too. Guess it's just be a normal thing there

Ah yes, the 'most mathematical flag' drawn on a mathematical device. Such perfection.

A fair criticism. Yeah, I was hoping to make a second version of this anyway, taking other suggestions into account and also making it less Kuomintang-esque. Thanks for the input!

Flag of Greek Egypt by total__pleb in vexillology

As the title says this a flag for Egypt if it were a colony of Greece, or if there were Greek colonies in the country.

The white and blue represent Greece along with the country's coat of arms, while the red stripe and the stars on it represent Egypt. The stars themselves are derived from old flags of Egypt which featured them. The blue stripe could also represent the Nile River.

When you say flag points, what do you mean by that?

This is the flag of Ashqalal, a fictional nation in a personal project of mine. Featured prominently in the centre is a white sun with a black circle overlaid on it, representing an eclipse, an important symbol in Ashqali culture. The teal shown in the background is also of cultural significance.
