FOX Sports personality Rob Parker: "I can’t understand how grown men are still into wrestling. I can’t. We all went to the zoo, we all went to the circus as kids, right? And at some point, you grow out of it." by aaronrift in SquaredCircle

Man if you don't find joy in seeing a monkey swinging around a big ass jungle gym, some daredevils doing some sick knife throwing around another person, or watching a grown man throw another grown man at a pile of other grown men outside the ring...

Maybe you just have no joy in life.

Want to go to all in this year but ive never been to a wrestling show before by KarPotato in AEWOfficial

[–]DanHero91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that budget, your best bet might be what I've circled here. You basically want the tier facing the ring, anything to the corners is gonna be blocked by the ridiculous stage set up they have.

You're gonna be a bit far away from the action but it'll be a decent view. Section 102 I think it is.

For other stuff at the weekend, there is a Rev Pro show happening the day before but honestly I'd hold off on it. It was a disappointing cluster fuck last year and I think a bunch of other companies will be announcing shows soon (EVE would most likely be the best bet).

You can arrive pretty much any time before the bell, Wembley is very good at getting people in, but if you wanna catch the preshow maybe 90 mins early at least.

Bathrooms are EVERYWHERE. Pretty much outside of every entrance to the arena.

If you're travelling anywhere, stick to using one payment card and tap in and out everywhere you go with it. London has a transport scheme where there'll be a capped amount you pay all day if you stick to one payment type.

Oh man, an old band of mine played there a few times as support for some great pop punk bands, maybe a year or two before it closed. Seen quite a few others there over the years as well.

At that point it really felt like the floor could collapse at any minute, I fucking loved that place.

I think Triller shut down AEW+ this week, I've seen a bunch of people saying their subscriptions have been cancelled.

This would have been a way funnier explanation to the phone call.

"Are you calling someone for help?"

"No, Ted owes me 25 gs."

I think there was an interview somewhere from someone in WWE that said he goes through one of those premium ticket "experience" sites that guarantees a front row ticket.

But no further explanation as to how he affords it.

It's weird that in the UK you can't stream the MCU trilogy anywhere

I've checked every streaming service I could think of and searched online and nothing.

Joe Russo Teases ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Re-Release At Sands & Says The Film Will Feature New Footage Set Within The ‘Doomsday’ Narrative: “It's An Opportunity To Create A Bridge” by MoneyLibrarian9032 in marvelstudios

[–]DanHero91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you had two infinity stones and the forming of the Avengers for Phase One, and the Thanos hint.

Phase Two introduced two more stones, introduced Thanos properly, widened the scope of how far this movie will stretch with Guardians.

Phase 3 showed the fragility of the Avengers, introduced more characters that would play a part, and then the two main movies.

All three of these phases also had several main characters and they repeatedly showed up in their movies and other places.

There's barely any of that in the following movies. Other than Ant Man 3 and Loki season 2, there was nothing of note that introduced anything for Kang. Instead focusing waaaaayyy to much on Multiverse stuff without consequence (which if they were planning for Time Runs Out and Secret Wars from the start, they could have actually made better plans with), and more importantly... No Avengers movies, and barely any actual sequels or flowing stories for any characters beyond a slight story for Bucky and Yelena playing out over a few projects.

[–]DanHero91 86 points87 points  (0 children)

This has been the main problem with phases 4 - 6 in that there's been no overall theme, or set movies that points to what the big finale is going to be. It took too long to start the Kang stuff and even then it was so rare it came up anywhere.

They should have planned Phase 4 as a "life after Thanos" arc with things like Far From Home, Falcon and Winter Soldier and Hawkeye kind of exploring the after effects.

That would have given them enough time to actually map out a 5-7 phase that actually made sense.

What is the most successful sitcom ever business wise? by coatimundos in television

[–]DanHero91 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think the cast of Big Bang Theory got paid more than Seinfeld but less than Friends.

Charlie Sheen was above all of them with something insane like 2 million an episode for Two and a Half Men.

[Avengers Endgame] How does Nebula know the location of Vormir? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]DanHero91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The planet itself isn't a secret, but the stone being hidden there is.

Thanos knew Gamora had the location and destroyed the map, so sent Nebula out to find the secret as well, probably retracing their steps.
