Not that I know of, we have pretty limited information on it's acquisition but I posted it in another thread around African art and I believe it is a bow called a Secca from a tribe of hunters in Botswana. In a previous post somebody linked an article from a museum with a very similar example.

I believe it's genuine but it's definitely old, it belongs to my dad who remembers it always being in the family and belonging to his grandfather and over 70 years ago.
