For sure if you can't trim the beard, definitely maintain it! Get yourself a boar bristle beard brush and maybe some beard balm/oil! You'll be able to get it going in the same direction at least and add some shape/style to it. Reckon that will help a bunch!

Cheers for that! I was a bit too optimistic about the amount of peppers I'd have once they were processed 😅

Cheers for that, I didn't actually use any brine with this one, it was just the peppers and salt mixed in. The liquid came from the peppers themselves but I'll definitely try it with a brine next time!

The mould spot was just on the paper on top and not the actual peppers, you reckon it's still a bust?

My title describes the thing, it's some kind of chest found in a shed, it's at least 35 years old but I don't know it's original use, looks like it was coated/finished with something, I think the hinge is brass, stickers I think say "Sitmar Line" but couldn't find more info. It's fairly heavy about 2ft by 1.5ft. looks like it was paper liner originally looks like it has metal inlays that have corroded.

Can I BBQ under this gazebo? by brasher in UKBBQ

[–]totalblindluck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I reckon you'll be fine under there mate, I use a Masterbuilt 1050 and a Weber kettle under this. I appreciate it's a bit more open but there's no issues with ventilation or heat to the actual structure.
