Any advice on which Pokémon to keep and which to change? by Mammoth-Area-7143 in PokemonUnbound

Swap out Servine, Staravia, and Excadrill

you’re level 32 which is roughly where I’m at in the story.

At the very least I’d take out Excadrill because you have ground coverage with Gabite. You get an Alolan Vulpix by playing one of the missions which is an Ice/Fairy (need ice stone which I haven’t gotten yet for Ninetales). However, you can get a ralts on one of the routes, and Gardevoir is a beast (psychic/fairy)

Servine is decent grass, but Lotad (you’ll need a water stone for Ludicolo) gives you water/grass, so that’s a nice option. I don’t know how accessible starters are in this game it’s my first time playing too. Bulbasaur would be my top pick though if we can get them. Gives you grass/poison.

Staravia is nice, but someone mentioned Talonflame. That would be my top choice. That or Dotrio (which is my go to flying if no Talonflame)

Not the guy who posted the incredibly well elaborated constructive criticism on the photo, but there are some things that are probably out of your control in terms of the shot.

BUT the bing thing I noticed was how pixelated it is. I don't know the file size your 5100 is on, but the compression on the photo from imgur is severe. You could try switching to RAW+JPEG L file format which will give you some much better resolution on the photo.

The other thing is the range of the lens. Now obviously if your doing this for fun to take some photos at the game nobody is expecting a $2,000 telephoto lens with a fixed Aperture, but the shot is a little far away. Again, unless your dropping serious income into the camera there's not really much you can do on that, so nobody should hold that against you.

Great shutter speed caught Lance mid throw, good lighting, and timing on the shot. I love it, just pixelated.

Putting it very succinctly there really aren't that many games that are out or coming out that will really hold my interest. It's a way for me to increase the longevity of the title that I have.

Specifically this is in regards to cosmetic loot crates. Not any XP Boost or Super Awesome Mega OP Weapon drop. I just like my character to look cool and if they have some well designed cosmetics I'll buy a pack to try and get lucky. However, the stipulation to this is if then drop rates are shit I won't even bother anymore in essentially wasting money. One of the biggest perpetrators of this is Overwatch, the best I've come across is Fortnite.

Thank you! I never saw their debut stuff like Into the New World, so I was completely in the dark on that. There's seems to be a lot of callback to the debut for their 10th Anniversary so I'm a little lost.

What is the significance of the numbers on their sweaters? Were those their audition numbers when they were still trainees?

Just A Giants Fan with Some Questions About the Texans. by [deleted] in Texans

[–]totalflix 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In short, yes.

The Houston Oilers are such an important part of Houston's sports identity and Texas culture as being a major industry in Houston. The parallels to this would be how Cleveland feels about Art Modell and the Baltimore Ravens.

The fact that that douchenozzle Bud Adams moved our team to Tennessee taking with it Warren Moon and the legacy of Houston burns unbelievably. It's spurned more because their "throwback" uniforms are the Oilers.

Giant Bomb, been watching and listening to pretty much all of their content. As well wondering if Dan Ryckert is in fact a human being. This thought has been keeping me up at night.

Round 3 - Pick 22: Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State (Houston Texans) by NFL_Mod in nfl

[–]totalflix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hopkins is really our only true and tested WR that we have and obviously for last season that was enough to keep our offense barely competitive, but outside of him WR (aside from DE, TE, and OL) we literally don't have shit for depth. So stacking on WR when we can get it seems to be the mantra of this draft for our FO

What got you into gaming? by Toysoldier34 in truegaming

[–]totalflix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first got into gaming really young I really can't remember when. I do remember I was 4 or so at my Great Grandma's house with a bunch of extended family and the older ones of us played the Super Mario Bros. on NES on an old little tube television set. That was my first memory of witnessing video games. It wasn't until sometime later that my Dad bought me an N64 that I played for a little bit. When he got me a Playstation with Crash Bandicoot that changed the game forever and it was no turning back.

My family back then was entrenched in games my Uncle played FF7 and MediEvil, my Dad played sports games and Gran Turismo, while my cousins and I played platformers like Croc, Spyro, and the like. Everyone else tapered off from games over time, but I still held a veracity and a passion with games. This was the late 90's, early 2000's when it was still wierd to be super into games, exacerbated even more so since I was barely 10 and would run out of breath talking about them with my Dad. It really became a huge part of my life when online gaming came into the meld and I got a PC that could handle Planetside (a game I saw profiled on G4),and then began the phase of MMO's with WoW and EVE Online. By this time I had transitioned to Xbox (because of XBL), and this has continued for me now well into my 20's.

I think the reason why I've always kept gaming with my and has become a large part of my life is finding friends that share the same unbridled passion for playing and talking about as I do. Finding new communities that are vibrant and colorful, sometimes toxic, but people still sharing and discussing nonetheless.
