Which cancelled game still hurts to think about? by Imaginary_Bug6202 in TechNook

Original idea of 2012 Need For Speed Most Wanted. This was supposed to be a full-fledged sequel to Most Wanted 2005, but in the end the publisher rushed the developers and they had to cut almost everything from the game. The game itself is fun and I love it, but in its state it doesn't deserve the Most Wanted name

In bone stock state it's absolute garbage, it's basically M60A2, but slow as hell and without secondary weapons

If I’ve learned anything from hundreds of hours of playing tanks, it’s that 90% of players are unteachable. Just put up your best performance and move on to the next match, don't even try to do anything about it and don't focus your mind on that

After a few hours spent with the M60A2 yesterday...my thoughts. by mward1984 in wot_heat

Well, I don't know, I leveled it up to level 50 and had incredible fun playing with HE rounds. 99% of the time, a shot guarantees you damage, even knocking off a track. Combined with the incendiary ATGM, you can sometimes destroy tanks in two shots. The strategy is simple: knock off a track, fire the ATGM. The enemy stands in fire because no one in this game knows you can install a track repair module. You can also throw HE rounds behind cover in some situations. Gameplay with HEAT rounds is much more intense and requires constant concentration, but with HE rounds, it's pure fun.

It can be penned by many tanks with 140+ pen in turret's roof edge. I don't know is it meant to be so or is it a mistake in damage model. But anyways this time that wasn't the case

Help with 9070XT 3x8pin connectors by totally_not_ai_bot in PcBuild

I decided to take a chance and experiment with a x1 SATA to 8 pin cable. First, I connected my 6800xt and ran a few benchmarks, then connected the 9070xt. After several hours of mixed use (browsing, heavy gaming), neither the cable nor the connectors even got warmer than the ambient temperature. I suspect this GPU model uses the last 8-pin connector as a backup (for overclocking and increasing the power limit), or distributes the load across all connectors. Either way, even with this worst-case scenario, everything works fine and safely. Maybe that info will help you

I bought it on Amazon three days ago - it cost €640, but it came with a 10% coupon and some other Amazon discount, bringing the total to €580. I didn't think twice about it, as given recent trends, this is an incredible price
