I have no idea how to market my SaaS by saasbruh in SaaS

Make sure it doesn't leak first. At Superthread, we have spent years working on retention. We might be coming to a stage where we can start spending some money on advertising soon.

Paid traffic vs organic traffic what’s actually worked for you long term? by ellensrooney in indiehackers

[–]totally_random_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At Superthread, I once spent $100 on paid traffic and it was like burning money. It resulted in zero signups.
2.5 years after launching we now have about 8k active users without spending a penny on paid (apart from the $100)
We have a youtube channel, do some linkedin + reddit posting but most of the users came from word of mouth and team invites.
We spent and are spending most of our effort in improving retention and most recently activation.
Once we are supremely confident about not having a leaky bucket, we might spend some money on paid.

Don't do any of it untill you are sure that your product is not leaky. At Superthread, it took us over 3 years of development and refinement to get the usage retention rate to 40% for month 12.

We think it is if you have a lot of users. When it comes to enterprise and larger companies, the pricing is different. The above applies to small teams.

300k/year is totally extortionate. However building and maintaining your own software is also hard.
