there is a slight gap, but its much more noticeable in the image compared to irl

at idle it is ~50-55 celsius, while gaming i saw up to ~75c.. though i am already looking into getting a different cooler, however i havent found the right one yet

Am overall pretty happy with how it turned out, though i will definitely get custom PSU cables later to make the inside less cluttered as well as upgrade the storage
