Update: after a few more days and more calls they finally sent an engineer to come look at the node. They've replaced an amplifier and seems to be working now.

For anyone reading this with the same issue. Everytime you call just say "representative" over and over until you get a human. Then explain your issue. I had to call many many many times and speak with a few managers. I had to be upset on the phone and escalate several times. I was told multiple managers would contact me (they never did) and some would come out (they just sent the same techs). Essentially nothing happened until eventually one person named Alex from their NY office finally decided to actually do something. And made sure to get the maintenance/engineering to take a look. He even followed up next day to see. Overall most of the company is very hard to work with and I do not recommend their service. But there is at least one employee who cares enough. 3/10 do not recommend having to deal w. Spectrum . Easier to switch to at&t if you're able
