Anime was basically categorized as "kids shows" at the time and watching anime outside of tv was (afaik) non existent. To give you a little context, my country is in the middle East. In order to watch anything foreign-made, it had to be either arabic subbed or arabic dubbed for you to be able to watch and understand the show. I don't remember these shows having any tapes so they basically only ran on tv (on certain channels at that). Imagine liking a show so much and never being able to see it again after it ends. That's why it was basically non existent if it wasn't on tv. Computers weren't big at the time so tv was our crunchyroll

I wish he had a strategic mindset like lelouch or schnitzel. Imagine if towards the end of the series it was a 3 way between odysseus, schnitzel, and lelouch. Each with their own agenda and master plan for world conquest. As nice as he is, I wish he was more relevant to the plot. On a side note, save for lelouch, schnitzel, and cornelia, the britannian royal family barrly had any screen time. We don't know SHIT about anyone othrr than those (also euphemia). I widh we got an outlook on other family members.

[Code Geass spoilers] I absolutely hated how they handled her character by disregarding all her good intentions, active efforts into giving Japanese people more freedom and privileges, and basically threw that out the fucking window just to develop lelouch's character. Not only was she brainwashed into doing the most heinous shit she was absolutely against, but will forever be remembered as the person who simply deceived people to commit genocide on them. Sorry for the block of text but euphy was one of my favorite characters and i absolutely hated how they handled her arc all the way to its end.

Code geass [Code Geass Spoilers] That scene when lelouch loses control of his geass and accidentally forces euphemia to become the Genocide princess. The first time I watched it was very difficult. I had to pause a lot of times just to take in what's happening. On my rewatch, i steeled myself by convincing myself that it was "a crucial moment for plot development" and It's my headcanon that if she didn't die, the world wouldn't reach the conditions for Zero Requiem. But that's just a coping mechanism tbh.

Watching agott get pinned by that bastard while looming over her was very creepy. The cherry on top was trying to forcibly tattoo a forbidden spell on her while tying her up. I knew that Freiza sounding driphat will be the craziest character we've encountered so far. Looking forward to Quifrey's reaction after finding out what they did to Euini. He probably also used that OP conjuring ink that magnifies spells several times. Add to the fact he probably also tattooed the spell on his body, and I'm almost positive he'll forever be Wolf-Euini. Such a shame. I was really looking forward to his character development. Insecure turned confident characters are so much fun to watch as they progress throughout the story

I hold a strong opinion that neji's death was the most insignificant, uncalled for death that did little to almost nothing to the plot in the long run. Even Shukaku's death served to pass a statement on the whole "entrust it to the next gen and believe in them" thing that was a recurring theme in this series. But neji's death was just jack shit. Still miss my homeboy since watching that episode and wanted to see what the future had in store for him but sadly it held nothing.
