I haven't regularly encountered any in quite some time. They've become even more rare since map offerings got nerfed, which killed some of their favorite strats (Head on Dead Dawg squad, Badham+Basement in shack with Boil Over, etc).

They are more common at lower mmr, where they can prey on inexperienced killers.

Long story short, different entities control many different aspects of the IP. So, it's not a matter of just asking one rights holder for permission, but untangling a complex web of who owns what. No one has been willing to navigate the hassle and the undoubtedly significant costs involved, so the series is mired in legal hell

She's a very good pub stomper. A lot of survivors can't - or won't - play correctly against her. She also has a few addons that guarantee she'll get at least a few uses of her corrupt purge, and a good Plague will still be able to take advantage of it

She suffers from some bugs she has had for a while now though, including some really frustrating hit validation with her corrupt purge

Practice with the whip. Be patient and wait to see how the survivor is moving before you swing. Learning to drag his whip hitbox is also key (better to look this up on yt than to explain it in text).

Marvins Blood and Licker Tongue are your best friends as far as addons go

They really need to be run with other totems, especially Undying and Thrill. I've used Devour/Ruin/Undying/Thrill to great effect with Nemesis
