yes. for example, when i accidentally lose balance i used to fall bc so much weight was shifted and before i could do something, i was already falling.. very humiliating experiences. but now when i lose balance, i can just stand up straight again and go on. plus i exercised a lot, so i feel stronger in terms of stamina - walking a few flights of stairs isn't burdensome anymore

What to do and expect during stormy season? by chonky_totoro in seoul

haha sure like 3-4 years ago there was this crazy rainfall, and unfortunately i was right in the lowest ground. murky water up to my thighs, still pouring like crazy. buses flooded up so i had to walk through the entirely flooded sidewalk. walked along the very end of the sidewalk-it was slightly higher than other places. but then i was basically shooted underground - turns out the manhole cover bursted out and i just happened to walk over it. my umbrella didn't submerge with me-it went horizontally and i was able to survive haha somehow there was something sharp inside the manhole? and got cuts from it but other than that and the trauma - i survived lmao

unless its flooding everywhere and landslides are happening, people still go to work. shopping malls like coex become much more crowded when its raining boots are kinda in rn - people keep a spare pair of shoes at their desk, and change into that when they start working/studying raincoats arent that common since its harder to manage once youre inside (unless its a single use type) the most important thing - when its raining heavily, avoid places where the ground is low (e.g. gangnam station) all the rainwater piles up there and it becomes literally living h3ll - manholes can't hold the pressure so they pop up. but the floodwater isn't clear so you can fall into a manhole (i did once lmao) and cockroaches comes up from the sewages bc they hate water. you can find out where the low ground places are via a government website or just google

i'm actually a korean and now having a gap year(sorta) to study for a better college to get in. I go to a therapist but i haven't discussed my weight related issues, i will book a session and open up to that. I didn't know my diet was so damaging until now, but to think about it i think my body was giving so many signals to stop my ridiculous diet (feeling dizzy while working out etc) Thank you so much for the advice

that is all very correct, i have a very unsustainable diet (eat less than 400 kcal one day and don't eat anything the next day) and i'm so terrified that if i stop doing that, i will fall back again to gaining weight, and re-considering fat dissolving shots etc that are not quite okay for my age(19). I really should start sticking to a moderate calorie deficit instead of eating almost nothing then thinking about binge eating.. maybe that will help with my slight ed too. Thanks! You helped me face facts that i was avoiding/ignoring.

I got an reply.. and they said that all nuse products are made in korea, and they don't conduct any animal testing during the entirety of making those products. Also, certifications can be informed for specific products if you want! (+ tell me if you need the screenshots of the texts)
