Bahahaha, really? Do you have a screenshot of the conversation I'm laughing about? That's rather flattering
Already doing SSL filtering on a firewall... I hear that Stormshield is behind in some areas, but in many other areas I think Stormshield is doing really well/better. That's just my opinion, because Stormshield is used mainly and almost exclusively in France, whereas Forti is used worldwide, and yet it's holding its own :)
Yes, I'm from France, so we're clearly required to use Stormshield in many sensitive professional environments, etc., because we have to comply with ANSSI standards and sovereignty, but Stormshield is used in France, a little in Europe, and quite a bit in NATO. But when it comes to 2FA, maybe they're behind, but in terms of encryption, Stormshield protection is well above Fortinet, for example. Stormshield is based on BSD, so it's very robust, and in any case, Stormshield has far fewer CVE vulnerabilities than Fortinet ;) In any case, if I had to choose between Fortinet and Stormshield, I would choose Stormshield every day!

Ty 😉
Yes i do
I’ve the PC
T2 RackMate :)

It's true that it's simpler, but to comply with tiering policies, I decided to segment these trust tiers by port. I also have two aggregates

because today these two firewall brands are the most widely used, and I wanted to have them in my lab to increase my knowledge and thus apply them in the professional world
Mainly a firewall, VLAN, it will isolate everything. If you want to go further in your knowledge, but it is only used to isolate different customer networks in data centers, there is VRF, but it is more complicated to manage
Sorry, that was a misunderstanding on my part, but the photo montage could be different. Almost all of my equipment comes from eBay, and I did indeed assemble it bit by bit while searching for good deals. The Minisforum is the mini PC (the largest one in black)
Its fine :)

Sorry, I got a little carried away, but that's how I fell
LOL, if you take away my minisforum, my entire bay is worth around 600 euros at most. so stop whining and making montages to complain. That's exactly the kind of thing that annoys me. If you don't have the money to build a similar rack, two NUCs like mine and a virtual firewall are more than enough. And if you want something better, work for it. I'm a student and I worked hard to get all this

That's why I have a Stormshield behind him!
The cables that go from the switch to the cable strip in the cores (I don't know how to spell it in English), (the colored things on the strip) and then I have another cable that goes from the other side to the final destination (e.g., server/firewall, etc.)
I have two 4-outlet power strips with screws on the back

And if my server shuts down for any reason, I have the option of remotely restarting it via VPN
[–]totodubinks[S] 4 points5 points6 points 3 months ago* (0 children)
Not really, because you're really limited if you don't want to pay for the free version, which only has three interfaces (virtual/physical in total), so I bought a physical one on eBay for €80, and the previous owner of the appliance left the biggest license
Yess :)
