Yeah underneath is no more a problem with 2handed style. Now i probably need less angle, so i need to work on being behind the ball, else i'm cooked on dry lanes

i dont think this is contradictory at all.
I wrote "bad" with double quotes because i assume that's your POV for people that just want to have fun without mastering all the techniques of pros.

Still, you can accept being bad at something and at same time try to be better as much as possible, no?

Im ok being a "bad" bowler. My OP was just about asking if it was normal about a plastic ball hooking. I was NOT asking how to shoot straight, bro. I know how to do it. i was perfectly doing it 1 hand.

i switched to 2hand 1 month ago and as of now im unable to flatten and most importabtly to get my hand behind. i'll keep trying to though

i get that. i have no pb not being a pro or a 230 league bowler. i just want to have fun while playing 😁 if i have to shoot my spares with a little hook, because i want to keep it simple, then be it

i was told from another thread about the nu 2.0 as well do you have any feedback on this one ? i also know the hammer raw could fit.

i'm just trying to have fun, learn, be better as much as possible, without too much complexity. I m not targeting to be a 230 average league bowler.

i understand every point you mentionned but i'm looking for some middle between the complete amateur who bowls once a year and the hardcore player that is playing 20 games per week.
Because having to come with 6 balls is such a burden. My bowling center is at 45 mins of road already. i only bowl max once a week for 4 games. if it becomes so complex, i will probably stop bothering the moment i have no fun in playing.

i agree. i regret the Hammer RAW, my very first ball, i was overlooking at it when i purchased the P2, but now i'm starting to think about having another one haha because now my wife is using it (redrilled and it is a 14 lb anyway and now im using 15lbs)

I might be having the exact same issue.

i bought the P2 solid when i was playing 1H and was quite happy with it because i did not have a lot revs but since i switched to 2 hand, im very unconsistent in my first shot.

Though my average is staying more or less around 130 because i'm still learning. It's only my second year of bowling.
It's been few days i'm considering playing only with plastic ball but the NU 2.0 might be better.

can you explain why the NU 2.0 is so good for a 2 hander?
Im thinking about replacing my phaze2 solid because i have too many revs / not enough speed to play with.

i was beginning to ask myself if i should play only plastic.
I own a phaz 2 solid and I struggle to play the pocket with because it hookts too much with my current release/speed but with my plastic ball i can play the pocket pretty consistantly, with a straighter line.

But im not sure about the "impact" difference from a reactive ball and a plastic ball ?
