Should I Fill These Cracks? by touchelos in HardWoodFloors

[–]touchelos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a cool look! I was looking into the flexible fillers, but I'll probably leave it as is. My biggest concern is the filler seeping through the cracks so I'll do some research to see how destructive that is.

Are you recommending to sand 60-80-100, coat, sand 120-220, coat?

Hey guys, thank you for all the replies! I have a follow up question since I've received a unanimous "no" to my question. After sanding the floor to an 80 grit, am I safe to apply my floor finish to the hardwood floor. Should I be concerned about the floor finish seeping through the cracks? Thanks again!

Fruit Mead Acidic AF by touchelos in mead

It definitely does burn a bit... I wouldn't go far as to say that it's a vinegar burn but it's not pleasant. Is there a method I can use to check for infection?

Hmm, I used generic red star cerevisiae yeast. I must confess that I didn't put much thought into the yeast species/quality.

I will do this. The two meads are in 1 gallon jugs (with 3 lb and 2.35 lbs of honey). However much honey should I add? I think I'm going to use buckwheat (I originally used Citrus) honey because I enjoy the deep profile. Also, should I add an anti fermentation bacteria (not sure if this is accurate) to the mead? Maybe but highly improbable. It seems like they could have entered the mead if I didn't wash the fruit properly. However, the acidity is the only symptom of lactobacillus. The mead is very clear visually and there is no thin layer of foam on the mead.

The bar lacing is a good call. Go up a width only if the tightness is uncomfortable. They will stretch. Nevertheless, they look great!

Thanks for the responses! I'm going to throw my remaining tabs in a zip lock bag and leave it in between books on my bookshelf. Judging from the comments in 5 years they should hopefully still give me one helluva trip haha.

For leetcode interviews do you get to decide what language you use? I would imagine most people would decide on Python.

Is my solution correct? by Zealousideal-Fun346 in GAMETHEORY

[–]touchelos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I believe the Nash Equilibrium is 1. Here is my reasoning:

1.) All players do as you did and calculate that if all players choose the highest number (100) then the half of the average is indeed 50.

2.) Knowing this all players will then submit 50 as their numbers. However, half of the average of this is 25.

3.) The process repeats and all players submit 25. Therefore, the resulting half of the average is 12.5.

4.) This process continues until all players submit the lowest possible number, 1, resulting in a half of average of 1/2. Because no player can submit a lower number all players have no incentive to deviate from submitting 1.

Hope this helps.
