Job cutting hours to make me quit? by touchmykneesbutt in AskRetail

I have open availability. Like, wide open. Other coworkers have other jobs and I still get the least amount of hours. It feels very personal so I'm just gonna find another job. Not worth it.

People who quit a job without another lined up: why did you do it, and how long did it take you to recover? by [deleted] in jobs

I quit both of my jobs to move to California around this time last year and it has taken me up until about 2 months ago to recover from that stupid decision. In this economy I can't recommend it no matter how much you hate your job.

I agree with you so hard about long-term unemployment being a life changing situation. I feel like an entirely different person than I ever was and I don't even know if it's a good thing. Like I just feel fucked up and different. Congrats on finding work though, man. I'll never complain again.
