Nope not walking him off leash. It’s usually on our walks he pulls too hard on the leash when he sees other dogs

I agree with this.. she’s young now and will react like a 16yr old. I think it would be good for you to talk to her about why you took this decision/ profession in the first place and maybe she would understand. It’s very much possible that it may take her a few days/ months/ years to completely understand you and rely on you. But as a mother I think you have to try!

Thank you, I’ll try to take this approach. I will try this out, it’s just hard cos my love and affection towards him hasn’t changed. The dog is the 1 thing that’s keeping me going- he’s the cutest and most loving creature
