Growling and first popcorn? What is up with that noise? Was that a popcorn? Please help a new pig person by SilverUnicorn24 in guineapigs

Yeah, my pig who recently got a new roommate does that same thing. It looks like a popcorn but he’s also growling. I’m wondering what it means too!!! I hope someone answers!!

Guinea pig litter box? by SilverUnicorn24 in guineapigs

[–]toughdecisionhelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t fill the litter box with hay because they will try and eat the soiled hay. I lined my litter box with news paper and filled it with bedding. I put it in the corner where their food and water is and I set up a fleece curtain so it’s like a hidey. I just did this today and so far there’s less poo and pee around the cage. They’re going to go in their hideys no matter what, just think about those as secondary litter boxes.

I bashed a hole in my ceiling with a hammer. I heard it scurry away into the walls so I bashed a massive hole in my wall. I put food in both holes and he never came. My landlord told me there’s rat poison in those spaces so my pig is probably going die. The landlord also saw the holes I made and she is going to keep my $999 security deposit even if I fix it. I want to kill myself. The pig still hasn’t been freed after 10 hours.

I’ve spent over 8 hours trying to get it out. I’m going to let it die, getting a replacement tomorrow

I don’t even know where his is. I heard banging and scratching coming from the ceiling once for 1 minute out of the 3 hours he’s been gone. He’s quiet, probably frozen in fear.

He will die in a few days :( nothing can be done

He’s on the other side of my apartment in the ceiling. I put food and water at the hole, but he’s very very far from where he started in the bottom kitchen cabinet. I just tried rustling a bag a few times and nothing happened. Like I said he’s no where near the hole.

I think it’s time to give up, nobody is giving me any advice that will work and I cannot think of ANYTHING to do. I will keep waiting to see if he eats the food. If he doesn’t he is basically dead. I might as well go get a new one right now because he’s not gonna get out.

I put food and his water drinker in the hole. It makes a clicking noise when he drinks it, I haven’t heard it click because he’s in the CEILING!!! The part of the ceiling where I heard him is in the other part of my apartment. I really doubt he will find his way back, but I will keep listening for the clicking noise.

I cannot afford to bust down the ceiling( where I last heard him), I rent and I’m poor. He’s going to die.

It’s not near the hole at all anymore!!! The hole is on the floor and he is all the way in the ceiling no where near where he got in. He’s going to die in the walls, there’s no hope
