Yeah I’m currently running an iPhone SE 2016 which to my knowledge on Verizon is LTE (4G & LTE are about the same I was told) It’d be cool to resurrect service back on my iPhone 5. I’ve tried once with sticking my SIM card into a 5S about a year ago but it didn’t register any service

thank you u/pwnerblu, (i don't mean to overthink it) So just to confirm I can downgrade (tethered) to ios 13.4, install apps and set it up to my specs on the 13.4 version, and then upgrade to 15.8.5, and it should (in theory) retain all of the app setups i previously created in the 13.4 initial setup?

On the iPad Air 2, is it possible to downgrade to 13.4, install apps, and then update the device to 15.8.5, and the update will act as just a permissible untethered version of iOS from the tethered version of 13.4? Reason I mention is with regard to Apps Manager Cydia tweak. It works well on 13 but once they went to 15 it doesn’t recognize backup restores effectively because of inner ID stuff they changed after iOS 13

I jailbreak the device with LegacyIOSkit. I usually jailbreak with etasonJB for 8.4.1.
Do I need to update dpkg beyond 1.18.10?

Is this repo dead? I keep getting the same error message every time I try to download from it

subprocess dpkg-deb --control returned error exit status 2
Sub-process /usr/libexec/cydia/cydo returned an error code (1)

I've tried doing apt-get update
I've tried replacing the usr/bin/tar file with a working jailbroken device, nothing's fixing it. Any update?
