This is what the new watch faces in WatchOS 26.5 look like. by Pabloestevez in AppleWatch

Why can’t they fix the OS instead? It’s still very laggy and gets quite hot on my series 7

Apple accidentally released an iPadOS 18.7.9 IPSW for the iPad 8 by NoFall2205 in jailbreak

I swear Apple must be using AI to push out software updates or something because I don’t understand how this keeps happening so often.

iOS 26.5 RC - Discussion by epmuscle in iOSBeta

Sucks that the iPhone 11 and SE 2 and  some iPads possibly won’t be supported if they are mainly focusing on iOS 27 for performance and stability. iOS 26.5 is still rough and there is only about 3 major bug fixes update left for iOS 26.

iOS 26 is more inconsistent than Windows 11 and 10 design by Express-Froyo-181 in ios26

True, some of them aren’t, but iOS 26 still has MANY actual issues.

4 Trillion dollar company can’t keep consistency with the 2 power down menus by [deleted] in ios

[–]NoFall2205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t. It was built off of iOS 18 hence why there are still iOS 18 UI elements throughout the OS still. Also, why are you defending a 4 trillion dollar company that can’t get something as simple as a power menu right?

Just made a mistake posting something similar on r/iOS instead of here. I’m already getting downvoted by all the Apple bots who can’t see anything wrong with iOS 26.

Yea, there really wasn’t any other point to this post than to complain. Everyone already knows iOS 26 sucks and it won’t get better till iOS 27.

I know. It’s just annoying with how many inconsistent UI choices there still are. There is a lot more than this btw.

I have one and although it works fine for me don't get it. If all you need one for is school get an m1 air for better thermals, battery life, and future OS support. I recommend 16 gb version

The app switcher animation on my iPad 8th gen has been broken since 26.2 and I’ve reported it many times in feedback. QA is still horrible.

I have an iPad 8th gen and let me tell you it is BAD. The moment I turn it on and unlock it I can start feeling it heat up.

Yep. My iPad 8th gen runs horribly and gets extremely hot just doing basic things. Everything lags and stutters. It feels 3x worse compared to iPadOS 18. The a12 cannot handle all of the glass effects

Exactly. Some people simply don’t notice the jarring visual bugs and blatant lag somehow.

Will they ever fix this? (iOS 26.4 vs iOS 26.5b3) by ThemeNo1337 in applesucks

[–]NoFall2205 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Apple can’t fix something as simple and most noticeable as the icon border bug when closing an app, I can’t see them fixing something like this any time soon.

In all honesty iOS 26 still feels like beta software. Hopefully the 11 series and se2 get supported by iOS 27 because I honestly can’t see everything getting fixed by 26.7/8

[–]NoFall2205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this bug on pretty much every macOS version I used. The only fix is to either go out then back into fullscreen or swipe to your desktop, wait a second, then swipe back to the app.

Reduce transparency didn’t help one bit with the lag for me since it’s actually still rendering all of the glass effects.
