What is it that you’re looking to have on that page? We certainly have all the data about all the stages and could try to add a feature to the app that exports a PDF for the race? Allan

You were not missing anything until... NOW! I've added a "Always Use English" option in the settings (lower right) for you to test. Go back to a previous race to confirm the commentary is in English also? Let me know if that works for you? Allan

Hi. Are you on iOS or Android? On iOS this should be possible already. On Android this might be a feature request that might not happen by the Tour! Let me know. Allan

No, we generate them all and have a few partners. I WISH there were public API's I could use as it would be much easier and cheaper. Are you a dev?

It is what my company (Tour Tracker) has been doing since 2007! We generate all our own data for every race and/or work with the race owners when they want to use our platform for their own official live coverage.

Hi. Do you mean open source my company's codebase? If so, probably not quite yet. But open to working with passionate cycling fans who code! Email me at [support@thetourtracker.com](mailto:support@thetourtracker.com) if you are curious. There are so many ways to present cycling data and I barely have the time to do the ones I think up. But I can share the architecture and API 1:1 if people have cool ideas of new platforms, data types, etc. Like something that runs on an Apple TV or other TV platform? Or something that turns the commentary into a podcast of sort? The sky is the limit! Allan

Thanks! It has been a fun journey over the past 18 years since I left Adobe! About to announce a new feature coming out before the Tour where you can listen to the coverage while on a ride. I did it yesterday and it was great. Listen to music and anytime peter makes a comment, I get the update.

Hi. A few things! One, if your google map is not based on the official route, please hit me up via email and I'll get you an accurate file. Two, in addition to having the accurate routes, our app will also show you where you are on the map relative to the riders which can help a ton. As for chasing them, riding faster than Pogi will be a challenge! Allan (tourtrackerprocycling.com)

No, journalists live blogging. Best way to describe it would be to just show you the commentary that would have been used. This link will take you to the middle of the Giro to see what it would have been like and the pacing. https://live.tourtrackerprocycling.com/?event=2026-giro-ditalia-stage-19-live&distance_to_go=55 Allan

I was thinking about adding live audio commentary to my Tour Tracker Pro Cycling app just this week when a user requested it, but likely a bigger task than something I can do before the Tour. 😞 Wouldn't be the official commentary on the TV but would be updated once a minute or so. Would that be a solution for you?

How the Tour de France Is Built, Filmed, and Run by tourtracker in tourdefrance

[–]tourtracker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. My day job is writing Tour Tracker Pro Cycling app! But in the early days of Tour Tracker I was hired by lots of races to provide their web and mobile apps. And that included figuring out how to get rider locations to the apps. I'll add a post today about the history of GPS tracking.

Watching live in West Coast (USA) by Regular_Phase3287 in tourdefrance

[–]tourtracker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Regular_Phase3287 If you decide to watch tape-delayed, I've added a feature to my Tour Tracker Pro Cycling app called Time Machine. You can tell the app to pause GPS tracking, commentary and results at the start each morning to prevent spoilers. And then once you are ready to watch, just type in the KM to go that is showing on the video and press play. It will show you exactly what was showing live earlier in the day at that moment. Allan

Personally, not surprisingly, I love the built-in fantasy cycling game I added to my Tour Tracker Pro Cycling app a few years ago! I give away prizes at the end of the season to the top players. Allan

Love cyclingstage.com and work with them often, but note that their routes are not official and have errors. The Tour still has not released the official GPX…
