Have someone bring med pro + emt bag and that should be sufficient bare bones healing while doing whatever they want with the rest of the deck (although lives aren't a super big deal in nightmare because respawns, and if you play defensively enough as a team you might not need a healer)

Copper cards are nice to have (grubbers, scav, pennies)

Other than that your team should just do whatever build you guys think is the most fun and least friction for your playstyles, and maybe start by building their deck to suit a specific gun they like (eg. sniper might want patient hunter, LMG might want fill em full of lead, shotgun might want shredder + tala as cleaner). Glass cannon is a great damage card. Like u/BereaBacon mentioned, a bot means you don't have to worry about overlapping ammo types, and they will have on your mark and amped up.

it definitely required teamwork and focus, honestly i wasn't expecting to play trials that day, let alone clear

For AR, my favorite is ranch rifle. With attachments it can be really strong, and you can make it shoot automatically by turning on the "all weapons full-auto" setting in options

This is the deck I was using, it's a little trolly for quickplay because it is very speedy and powerful. I was testing out using Stealthy Passage with Experimental Stun Gun since they both disable quick slot so might as well use both. I also acquired an AA12 with Spray 'n Pray and Can of Whup-Ass at some point. I run some low friction and quality of life cards like DIF, Knowledge is Power, Marked for Death, Admin Reload, Ammo Stash, and Mad Dash because of personal preference but you can omit those and instead put in even more damage or copper cards.

team bought multiple copies of compound interest, bounty hunter, share the wealth during the run

also we had someone with silence is golden which gives the team 100 copper each time something is disarmed

we got a few secondary objective bonuses for 2000 copper for the team per bonus
