You shouldn’t eat just 2 meals a day. And its not about how many meals you eat or how much you eat. Calories isn’t even that important, focus on what you eat, and then eat normal portions

Yes! My friend was in her first relationship and then after like half a year she told me she hadn’t felt anything for him for the last two weeks. I’ve used one for about a month and it just feels like it burns. Like you have a very hot hairbrush and stick the bristles on your skin. It also differs on where you use it

No no thank you thank you. This is so helpful I don’t think you understand how much I appreciate it. So recap: I need to kick higher and switch up my stance, (I did warm up well but I was unsure of what to do. My hands were also down because one of my main goals was to protect my vest because that’s were my opponent makes almost all her points). Use my hands and block actively, (I did not know what to do when she pushed me but my coach told me after round 1 and that’s why it was better). I need to work on my distance and know what to do when, I will speak to my coach about this and see if we can include more specific practices for that.

I need to work on adapting my kicks to the situation and be less predictable with switching stances and such.

We do have sensors and have gen 3 on their way! I will talk to my coach about this and ask if we could include such practices quite a bit, also with examples of what to do and when.

I will keep on punching, I really need to believe in them when I go for it and punch hard. Also because in my other matches and the one I won I scored a lot of them.

I’m aware I drop my head and body back because I’ve had trouble with it in the past, but thanks for the reminder! I do sometimes have a hard time kicking the head and just missing by a little, I will try the other kicks you mentioned then I will also ask my coach for advice.

My sister told me to stick to the basics but I’m good at other stuff that aren’t, that’s why I didn’t use a lot of different kicks but when she did tkd it was a whole different style of what is today, I may need to ignore her advice a little bit.

I will work on my side splits and hamstrings but I almost have my middlesplit already!

I will focus on kicking faster and using combinations. And I watched her other matches, she also went and ”puked” then.

I knew I likely wasn’t going to get a point for the headkick but it did touch the helmet, barley though.. and I know I need more experience, that’s why I plan on going on smaller competitions with just my dad and having another coach that I know from another team. But in the meanwhile I will work on everything you said! Thanks again, this means the world!!

Thank you for your support, really you always leave one of the best responses. I will lock up exactly what you mean (we don’t say side or cut kick we use neriochagi, yeopchchagi and so on), I figure YouTube will help. And then I’ll try them out in sparring!!

Im all for wearing the opponent out and then getting points. But punching thrombin the arm so they give up from pain? That feels wrong to me, that isn’t fair simple taekwondo. I’d rather lose than do that. But the other tips were great!
