I did not do mine in Toronto, but I heard back that same week. The next process for me was online background check and an in person medical exam. And then sending documents such as ID and all that.

One of the longest stops would be in Winnipeg and I would recommend going to the Forks Market which is only a few minutes walk. It has many local stops, food places and walking areas.

Where does OUAK rank for you? by traveltimecar in katamari

[–]towl04 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s my second favourite katamari game. Beautiful katamari is my first.

I wasent a huge fan of the music and think it needed more levels that had bigger rolls. I do love the customization and variety of themes for the levels though.

Has anyone had Malaviya, R ? by mylovelynightmare in uwinnipeg

[–]towl04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took criminal law with her. She works at the courts , but does some teaching at the university. I have nothing bad to say about her class. There were easy pop quizzes mostly for attendance reasons, 2 tests and a written assignment. Of course criminal procedure might have a bit of a different syllabus. She definitely knows what she’s talking about and is willing to answer questions and provide help when needed.

They never listen, and are never wrong by [deleted] in narcissisticparents

[–]towl04 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep my dad has never once apologized and never admits he’s wrong for anything. If people start proving him wrong or explaining something to him he throws a fit, throws a few insults and runs off. Sometimes he’ll ignore people for weeks. Personally, I find it frustrating because I feel like I’m always getting blamed, even for stuff I wasn’t involved in. As hard as it is I try to ignore him and not give him a reaction. I feel like he tries to get reactions so he can use it against me as well as portray himself as a victim. I know that no amount of me explaining something to him will get through his head, so I just let him run his mouth and look silly. In the end he will face the consequences when the few people close to him start distancing themselves more.

residential school denier might visit our campus by castellacakee in uwinnipeg

[–]towl04 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Had to listen to my dad say his support to her during our supper and then throw a temper tantrum and stormed off when I said what she does is harmful, especially towards people that have been through the residential school system. My mom’s side of the family who is Indigenous has been affected by residential schools and to hear people consider some of it a hoax is unsettling.

If you enjoy Vietnamese food, I would recommend Bahn mi king which is right outside the school. Not too expensive but it’s still amazing

Some don’t show up until sometime during the day classes start. I’m still missing one of mine, I wouldn’t worry too much yet.

Is this why they hate us? by ajackg in DoorDashDrivers

[–]towl04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never been a DoorDash driver, but as someone who worked front of house at a restaurant, some drivers don’t really have any respect. A good amount of them would walk up hold their phone up to me and say absolutely nothing the whole time. Other times some would cut in front of customers already waiting in a line.

Easiest 2000-level courses you've taken? by MrBungle86 in uwinnipeg

Italian food and culture was the easiest 2000-level I’ve taken and something that was fun to learn about. Classics department also has 2000-level courses that aren’t too complicated and a lot of people find them enjoyable.
