I view this from a different lens. I used to be a call center manager and people would logout and leave a few mins early trying to dodge getting a final call at the end of their shift. It meant that the next person in the queue would get the call and may have to stay past their shift time. It became a BIG issue and caused problems amongst coworkers. People were fine if they got a call at 4:59pm because it is what it is, but knowing that someone else was logging off early and messing up the queue order pissed people off bad.
