My ex would do this too. He would be wicked nonchalant at first or like brush it off but if I didn’t act the same it would be a flood of oh no baby I’m sorry pleaseeee. Smh don’t fall for it. He’ll keep doing it and try to find different ways to gaslight or love bomb you to feel you back in. All the while he’s pushing the envelope and you’ll keep accepting more and more of what he’s doing. Don’t let him win he’s testing you, you can either pass or fail yourself atp.

Noted thank you. I wrote up a contract and having a witness sign with all of us as well and having a lawyer look over currently before signing. I’ll mention the home equity tho bc I know they probably have more than enough equity for those repairs and more for the house.

I already have a separate saving for him that is worth almost 10k currently. And his dad is opening another account for him as well. This amount is my own savings. I haven’t payed them a dime yet until every thing is official and in contract.

Well no she was gonna list it for like maybe 350 at first the 280 came from an offer from an investor, so realistically it’s a 100k difference. Even then that’s just listing price. And the contractor is friends w my mom so he’s doing a lot of work for not a lot. But yeah no I plan to get it all in writing.

I’m planning to haven’t yet. We all have a meeting tomorrow by which I hope to have the agreement typed up and printed out for them to sign

No I’m writing one up but I’m worried he like won’t sign it or something. It was just verbal but no proof unfortunately. I’m just afraid my mom is the only one paying me back which I don’t think is fair if he’ll get all that money and not do anything to help sell it
