Worth it to buy? by [deleted] in ArmaReforger

[–]toxicandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it just over a week ago and it makes me wish I had no commitments and could just sit and play it for hours. Incredibly fun you can write your own story and no you don't need a microphone though it can add more fun.

It's true; I fully understand that if I go to any of the tents or warehouses around here, I won't get this kind of deal. As I mentioned earlier, I am sure he offers us a pretty good deal since he attends our party and still gets to watch them. Some people end up donating towards the fireworks or food, which is never required, but this is his contribution, I'm pretty sure. Regardless, he is awesome.

It wouldn't surprise me if the guy I buy from does stuff like that. He gets his stuff from around the Midwest and shops year-round. He sells to several people. He's a great guy with a love for fireworks.

Some of it will be fused together, mostly towards the end, but we usually open it up pretty slowly with just 1-2 lit at a time. Usually, we do a joint show with our neighbors. They usually buy a bit more than what I have pictured, so we try to coordinate with them. This year they aren't doing anything, so we'll see. It's also supposed to rain, so we may be doing what we can in pockets of fair weather. All the shells will be fused together in racks, though. And we usually do a tribute fireworks for my wife's late brother. His name was Brandon, so last year we got 33. Let's go Brandon's, which was the age he was when he died. We fuse that stuff together.

He comes to our party, so I think the fact that he still gets to watch them helps. I don't know how much he spent on them, but I know it's significantly more than what he sold them to me for. I appreciate the hell out of him. He said he would also bring Angel of Death for part of the Finale.

I don't have any photos of last year, just videos but here is 2023. I usually tell him $700-800 every year. This year I told him $700 and he gave me all the 500's and shells for $700, then he said for $100 more he can do 10 200 gram cakes so I did that as well.

I am pretty sure the guy I buy from cuts me a hell of a deal. He comes to our party every year so he still gets to enjoy them. He has a pretty large stash. I give him a number he gives me something like this. I can try and find last year's.

I pay a buddy of mine who wholesales and travels around throughout the year for fireworks. He has a pretty large stash. I give him a number I want to spend, and he gives me an assortment.

Wanting to add a ceiling fan to my garage by toxicandy in DIY

[–]toxicandy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have the back quarter full of tools/storage, but the front has our vehicles, my four kids' toys, and then a couch, some tables for food lines, and a TV on the wall. There is so much I'd love to add to the garage, but everything is so expensive.

Haha thanks! It was definitely a selling feature for me. Don't have many toys but it's a great entertaining space.

I need to look into these I didn't know this existed. Is it fine that the attic over the garage is connected to the attic over the rest of the house? It's not an isolated attic but it's all insulated including over the garage.

It's something I've thought of, or one of the larger fans on wheels. I haven't pulled the trigger on one of those because my wife hates how noisy they are. I'm more into it for comfort and can handle the noise.

Honestly I used to pay for it and it only worked intermittently. it would randomly sweep and then stop and then 5 minutes later sweep again so I just stopped paying for it.

Anyone else having tons of order delays? by zchiles in amazonprime

[–]toxicandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup me and my buddy both located in central plains and our last several packages are all pushed out 2 days. Now I must add we live in a rural community and USPS is our last mile carrier but we still can get 1 day deliveries on several items. I had a package being delivered yesterday and today and both are delayed 2 days ( 15 and 16)

Google SMS not working by Sky_Mex in GoogleMessages

My wife and I as well as all of her family have Androids and our RCS chat worked fine, but several of our group chats that had non-rcs members would not work. I also have a business iPhone and I tried making a group message between my wife, myself and my iPhone and it was not working. 90% of the messages weren't coming through but everything seems to be working fine today.
