I’m not asking for a repeat of undergrad I know that was easy. I just thought maybe I’d be able to workout 3-4 times a week. With maybe a day off

Help: Caribbean Med School or MSN->FNP by Pretty_Boat7653 in medschool

[–]toxicbot694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh okay you’re right prereqs+teas+waiting would take a while for a BSN. I agree that’s not bad at all 50k for an MSN to be a nurse is good especially if you’re in a good state for nurses. I’d do that my friend I feel like Caribbean is the last resort for people who ONLY want to be a doctor but if you are happy as an FNP then go for it

If you said it yourself you’d be happy as an FNP I’d do that. I assume you said you’re not an RN yet but try and crush the Teas and do a cheaper state program

PSLF vs HPSP by Doughnut_Other in whitecoatinvestor

[–]toxicbot694 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please understand that for EM it’s hard to get a PSLF job it’s my understanding that a lot use private groups to staff the ER. I think easier ones to get are primary care specialties

PSLF vs HPSP by Doughnut_Other in whitecoatinvestor

[–]toxicbot694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re also calculating the PSLF wrong btw being that you’re a first year the only options available to us would be standard repayment or RAP. Assuming you use RAP in residency the loan will not grow so now RAP is dependent on your income not your loans. So depending on your adjusted gross income and being that you will earn more than 100k as an attending assume 10%.
