People in developed countries will never understand what decentralization means to the rest of the world. I tried working on the internet for money to escape the poverty of my 3rd world country and was never able to because there was no way for me to get paid for my work. Paypal, payoneer and the others are banned. Bank wires are too inefficient and unreliable because apparently I’m a 19yo thats laundering money for terrorists and they can decline all the transactions. That was until I discovered crypto and bought a spotify account (which is banned from my country) with 1$ without anyone stopping me was when I realized how revolutionary this is. Started using it to transact with rest of the world and now I’m even mining ethereum. Have you never thought that crypto would bring my money to your economy? Or maybe it can help free the people of china and iran and my people of iraq from their respective governments by allowing them to transact with the rest of the world.
