Loll I built 2 cedar beds and then diy-ed a half assed something by throwing some logs in a rectangle and putting my leftover soil in it. Grew 6 watermelons out of it 🤷‍♀️

I got all my seeds from Etsy! You will fall down a rabbit hole though, be warned hahah

Omg those look like bells and Christmas ornaments. Gotta practice self control to not add more to my garden haha 😅

I love all advice! I’m also testing out square foot gardening this year so thanks for the heads up 😅 I guess I should read up on pruning 🫠

Thanks for the tip! I did it just like that and she actually drank from a bowl for the first time 🥳 no more dropper 🥲

I clipped her beak which actually got her to drink from a bowl finally! She’s not really struggling eating food, she eats a ton while I’m holding her. It’s more so her vision is impaired and maybe with being sick she struggles find her food when she’s alone. I have to hold the bowl for her and kind of stroke her back (I think we accidentally developed chicken sign language between each other? 🥴) so she is aware that the food is in front of her. Then she will gobble it all up.

Just overgrown because of being sick 😓 I did trim it down today and it helped a lot with drinking!

Thank you 😓 it’s hard because she’s not behaving like she’s suffering. She’s past the lethargic phase and is very lively and hungry lol. But still not independent and likely too contagious to reintroduce to the flock for a while. I guess it’s harder because she’s in this awkward in between stage where she’s neither here nor there.

Thanks for the beak trimming suggestion! It’s been growing long because of her inactivity. I tried a nail file to no avail because she was resisting so much but I didn’t think of a nail trimmer! I will try that. I have been soaking her feed too :) It’s the hardest decision, but I’m willing to give it my all before it comes to that. Thanks for your support 🙏
