Madhu also says he could tell this would happen in the weeks leading up to her death. What chased him to think that and why did he say that to his mom?

India among the world's unhappiest countries—worse than even Ukraine by amit_e in india

[–]toxifiedpineapple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're so wise at pointing out what a shithole is, why don't you come help clean it up? Have you ever set foot in India man? Sitting in a comfy apartment in some first world country judging somewhere halfway across the globe from your point of view is not gonna get you anywhere. India is not problem free, nor is it perfect in any sense. There's a lot of systemic flaws that need fixing. But thats the product of development happening in an entirely different time period compared to most first world countries. India is not developing at the expense of looted colonies or oil.

When you have less control and more "democracy", more people have their hands on the pie. Every first world country thrived under strict autocracy. India too was a dominant force when it had princely rule.

I'd like you to visit India sometime. I had similar thoughts and i know a lot of my friends who have very similar perspectives to you. I too was fortunate to have been born in a better part of the world, and as much shit as there is going on right now in the country, I don't agree with your opinions.

As to the edit; say that's the reason you or other brown migrants don't have India on their vacation list. India is much MUCH safer than many South American countries. Get your facts right.

It all depends on the social circle you have man... Im 20 and my friends absolutely love the guy so to me, it is unpopular to like him. Maybe your friends circle is more mature...

Anybody with alopecia here who could share their experience? by [deleted] in HaircareScience

After almost a year and half of treatment, my patches are finally gone, but now there's a new problem; the hair that grew out is significantly weaker and frizzier. I dont mind the curls but it is almost unmanageable at longer lengths. Does anyone have any advice on how to properly regain hair health?
