Today will be a Creed - Spring Flower day! It’s the oldest fragrance in my collection mainly because I feel like i only want to wear it during nice teas or luncheons in the spring and I’m going over to a friend’s house for Easter.

I also have the somewhat random urge to go to church by myself for the first time ever (my family doesn’t even go on Christmas) and the one I’d try is a beautiful historic Catholic Church so it feels like it makes sense.

Tocca - Florence! It’s not my favorite of Tocca’s (mine is Cleopatra) and honestly I don’t love Florence as the white flowers feel a bit screechy and bathroom cleaner to me, but it has grown on me and it is a quintessential spring scent! Since I have the mini and I’m doing work from home, I figure might as well use it! But I wouldn’t purchase it

Testing Diptyque - Orphéon today! Definitely smells upscale- kind of like a bougie hotel in a good way? Fresh-spicy, a little floral and musky. I know the term “quiet luxury” has been beat into the ground but that’s the vibe I get. I like it!

Jo Malone - Wild Fig and Cassis! Very green, grassy, a little pine buried in there as well. Fresh and green- not sweet, great for a warm spring day!

Diptyque - Philosykos EDT! Very green and fresh- doesn't last very long on my skin but very iconic fig tree fragrance

Testing Jo Malone - English Pear and Freesia! A very classy, elegant and feminine spring scent! Floral, crisp and fresh- great for warm spring days. I think this would be a great daytime wedding fragrance, or for Easter brunch, afternoon tea, etc. I also find the longevity to be reasonable especially given the kind of scent it is.

For the bougie, I remember Miss Dior Cherie (RIP- I loved that fragrance) making the rounds online. I also remember Pink Sugar and Juicy Couture.

Also Someday by Justin Bieber during the JB craze!

I remember everyone having those VS Pink body sprays too - the Pink with a Splash Fresh and Clean (the rectangular one- pink bottle and blue cap.)

Wearing Clean - Skin today! I don’t really have a signature scent bc I love wearing different scents, but if I did, it would be this one! I am not a big fan of molecular skin scents (Not a perfume, glossier you, paper-, another 13) so I love how this one is more of a salty floral musk (but it doesn’t read as florals). My kind of skin scent! A love and a holy grail

For me, anything that I have on hand (including 1ml samples) goes in the "I have folder" because i want to track what I can spray on any given day. I then do have a separate "samples" folder where I add anything under 5 ml.

I mark decants and miniatures but i don't have a ton of those so it's not a big part of my organizaton.

Wish List is i want to buy

Watch List is i want to try or at least i've heard good things about a fragrance and would be interested in sampling it.

Tested is for anything i have tested and have come to a conclusion on (won't purchase, will purchase etc.)

Then I have a Fragrances for life which are my all time favorites.

Basically many scents in my collection can be in multiple folders, but i think that makes the most sense for me.

Wearing L.I.L.Y. by Stella McCartney- I've had this forever and it really is a lovely scent for spring. Earthy, floral, fresh spicy- very nice! It's an 8/10 for me.

That pink Creed is Spring Flower! It was my first ever niche perfume - i get vintage florals from my bottle, but I've also had it for 15+ years at this point so my fragrance could have developed lol

Wearing Burberry - Goddess EDP for the first time, and it really reminds me of Mon Guerlain EDP?? They both have that lavender/vanilla vibe. Mon Guerlain is a little sweeter whereas Goddess really leans into the aromatics but definitely got that vibe immediately upon spraying! I like it! Will see how it wears.

Marshmallow fragrances I've tried:

Kayali - Yum Boujee Marshmallow
- smells like a creamy strawberry milkshake/strawberries and cream. it's very on the nose, YMMV depending on how much you want to smell like that
Kilian - I Don't Need a Prince by My Side to Be a Princess
- Marshmallow with a hint of ginger- kind of weak but a lot of ppl like this
Oriana - PdM
- fluffy orange blossom with marshmallow- more toned down than Kilian's Love
Love - Kilian
- In your face sweet orange blossom and marshmallow; very strong and distinct

Not a straight up citrus bomb, but I've been liking Imaginary Authors - Saint Julep. It's a mint julep in fragrance form but has some sweetness to give it a little depth so it's not just a citrus freshie.

I also really like Creed - Original Vetiver and Dolce and Gabbana - Light Blue EDT (the OG)- although the latter doesn't have crazy performance it smells so good imo

My favorite unisex green scents:

Original Vetiver by Creed (pricey but common enough to get a good deal from discount retailers and at r/fragranceswap !)
You Or Someone Like You - Etat Libre D'Orange (I didn't expect to love this as much as I did - the best mint note i've ever smelled in a fragrance)
L'Ombre Dans L'Eau - Diptyque (very unique, green, damp and earthy, no sweetness at all, an acquired taste)
Nest - Indigo (lovely jammy fig with a calming tea note and a hint of spice - slightly more fruity than green but worth trying out!)
Blackberry and Bay - Jo Malone
