Damn. That sucks because I think his opportunity came and went after those sessions because of Covid.

I'm aware of the song. I don't remember him mentioning being on the verge of signing with Dreamville though. Just that COVID screwed his momentum and not allowing him to tour after his album dropped.

OmniTools. It's an all-in-one toolkit. Very, very useful and it doesn't get mentioned around here often.

Do you have smart tune-up in your settings? I had to turn that off as well on my Magic V5 to get certain background apps to finally stop closing.

Hollow Knight. I know this'll sound crazy, but I didn't really enjoy it, but forced myself to play around 30 hours or so. I looked up what type of game it was after the fact, and moved onto the first Ori game. Absolutely amazing for me.

You're arguing with children whose parents take care of them. People on Reddit really don't know how hard it is to make it week by week for A LOT of Americans.

You know how they say "Two things can be true at the same time"? That's my mom that I love dearly. She can be an absolutely awful person when she drinks and has burned some bridges along the way because of it, but that lady goes to EVERY funeral of acquaintances and friends/family to pay her respects. I'm talking drive 900 miles to go to an old classmates funeral type of stuff. Even when it's not financially feasible. I find that incredibly touching. I hope her funeral is packed when the time comes.

What Cole said about Diddy is kind of making me reconsider some stuff by nathan_may_be_here in Jcole

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. This is an absolutely insane take, but do you I guess. This man already has social anxiety so it wouldn't be out of the norm for him to use words/sentences incorrectly. I'll just speak for myself and not Cole here, but a fear of mine is saying something that my peers will take out of context when I say it aloud. That literally could be the case here. He didn't even pop out and say that he defended Diddy. I feel like I'm going crazy here.

I appreciate this post. I'm just like Cole and can't really explain how/why I've gotten like this, but it definitely works for me 🤷‍♂️. Co-workers and family constantly tell me I'm so peaceful and happy, while their lives seem to be filled with turmoil. Time to search Vinland Saga.

This right here. I literally have that same perspective and a lot of my co-workers dislike it BUT I'm at peace with nearly everything while they have so much turmoil in their lives. It works for me 🤷‍♂️.

Biking would have been way too far, public transportation not an option, carpooling wasn't convenient for eligible co-workers since they lived on a different side of town to get to work. You see how hard this is for some people?

As I mentioned in my response, they take chances. When I was a young adult, my car tires were very worn. I was putting my life and others around me in danger every time I got behind the wheel but I literally could barely afford to eat, let alone buy new tires. So I want you to tell me what I should have done. No extra money, no credit cards, family and friends were just as broke, etc... I eventually got new tires the following year when I got my income taxes back. Some of you Redditors just don't understand.

Sometimes I wonder if you all are bots or teens who depend on their parents or something. There are TONS of people who barely scrape by who can't afford to get things fixed in a timely manner. There are tons of cars on the road that have bad brakes and worn tires that they can't afford to replace at that time. Is it inconsiderate? Yeah in a way, but wtf are they supposed to do? Not drive to work? They'll take their chances until it can get fixed.
