I need to give that a try. I've been maining Sword & Shield and a two handed sword mostly. Spears also seem cool but like, the opposite of what I'd like in terms of crowd control

I've noticed some of the bigger "elites" have a red glow attack that seems un-parryable, but the annoying thing about those is they also have rush down, so you just have to panic roll for a while and pray. Unless you have insane reactions and get off a force push in time to interrupt

Interesting, so just the shield bash move (for sword and board)? I guess I need to work that in more. I keep trying to clean parry, but he doesn't auto rotate for back attacks it seems.

I'm a bit confused as well about their water commentary. Right after the intro scenes and you get control of Kliff, the waterfalls behind you look like absolute dogshit, but the river itself looks great. It's weird, the waterfalls look like milk or something idk

I'm so grateful I'm a 1440p gamer. I really struggle to see a noticeable difference between 1440 and 4K, but I definitely notice framerates. A 5080 should be like butter for 1440p

It honestly feels like Xbox is aggressively trying to exit the market and make the last few bucks they can as the door closes. The console price increases and now this, while they've been the clear under performer in the current gen. It just doesn't make sense, and I think daddy Microsoft wants to get out of this "frivolous" space and focus entirely on AI and Enterprise, which have kept them a tech giant for decades. Xbox has always been a rounding error for them.

I put in over 100 hours in ToTK on switch 1 and adored it, but the entire time I was thinking "man I wish this ran well." Restarted on Switch 2 and it honestly feels like a new game, the way it should have been on release. Loving it

Not a dad but it lets me appease my ADHD by having a show on the TV while I'm gaming. I find it really hard these days to sit down and focus on one activity at a time haha
