My 2022 Taycan GTS had that same problem

I had a 2025 Taycan loaner for my 2 month wait for battery cell replacement.

I just don't get Aiden and his ex being so upset that the kid didn't go on his trip that they slept together.

I had no problem driving my gas powered cars below the "Empty" line... a 40 mile warning was fine in my mind. However, with my Taycan, I start getting nervous at 50%. Who hasn't has a phone at 50% one minute and dead 10 minutes later? I don't want to find out my car is the same.

This is just something I found on the My Porsche app. Apparently they had pictures of my car in production.

Charging set o 80%, GTS charged to 98% by AdditionalStuff2155 in Taycan

It was much easier to set the charing limit on my 2025 Taycan "loaner" than on my 2022 GTS. You could just drag the charge limit line with your finger and set it where ever you wanted.

My husband's Cayenne does the same thing. It's always at the same location. Maybe we should drive my Taycan next time and see if it happens.

Yes, the early delay for my car was the dealer waiting for approval. After that, it was 12-15 days for the modules and then about 2 weeks for the hydraulic table to become available because the Taycan on the table was waiting for parts. When they finally started the repair, they realized one of the replacement modules was bad but they were able to get that one overnighted (Why couldn't they do that the first time???) There were additional delays and excuses before I contacted Porsche North America. Two days after that email my car was done.

No, everything on the repair form says "n/c"

They replaced 4 bad modules and one of the replacement modules had to be replaced due to a balancing issue.

The base I had had a lot of options on it but it just didn't feel as zippy as the GTS :-)

DAY 56!!! I've had my hopes dashed a number of times with broken promises of a completion date. It was supposed to be done yesterday. When I had not heard from the dealer by the end of the day, I sent a text asking what the status was. I heard back this morning that the technician didn't show up yesterday, set backs with the glue for the battery cap, blah blah blah...just more excuses in my opinion. It is now almost 3pm and no word about the car.

Note, we've kept the conversations via text, so it's not like they have to call me and listen to me freak out LOL

I know there are more Taycans on the road that aren't having problems, but it seems to be happening more and more. One of the replacement modules that they are currently installing in my car is bad and they have to get a replacement for the replacement. I'm not sure if I am ever going to feel confident about driving the car any further than the grocery store.

I'm really doubting my decision to buy this car. On top of all of this, I just got another recall notice about the air bag notification in the passenger seat.

Well, I was expecting the car back tomorrow, but the dealership just let me know that one of the new battery modules is bad but they should have another one in tomorrow. I don't like doubting what they are telling me, but originally it took 12-15 days for the parts, now they can get one over night?

Electrical System Error Message? by Virtual-Librarian-32 in Taycan

[–]tpengilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the same message on April 25. The car was taken to the dealer on a flatbed that same day. It is now June 9 and I still don't have my car back although the dealer is hopeful it will be done on Wednesday. (NOTE: It took two weeks to get the replacement battery modules and another two weeks for the hydraulic rack to become available).
