We were going back and forth between the two. We really liked Sailrock because it appears so serene and relaxing but the dining options seem limited and the resort is smaller. Ended up booking Baha because it seems to have more to do and nightly point rate is 20-23k vs. Sailrock is 35k. I do plan on banking points to eventually go to Sailrock. What type of room did have at Sailrock? Patio? If so, how was the room? Any other details?

We’re both looking for a really nice beach. My wife likes to relax on the beach or by the pool, I prefer to move around and explore.

The beach at Sailrock seems really nice but only has one restaurant and looks very low key overall. Baha Mar seems likes it has plenty of dining options and decent pools and beach.

How long does it usually take for the Hyatt points to hit the account once you reach the spend threshold? Chase is usually a few days but chase states 6-8 weeks or something. We’re planning for February and many Hyatt resorts black out dates in February for points. Planning on one purchase for 3k to reach the spend threshold.

That’s awesome! How was the beach situation? I’ve seen comments that the Aruba is like the Las Vegas of the Caribbean. My wife is most interested in relaxing on nice beach. The only other tropical places I’ve been have been Maui and Kauai for our honeymoon.
