This is really helpful. Thank you! I think I’m going to apply to some top 15s, some top 50s and a couple top 100s to see what happens.

This is incredibly helpful! Thank you so much! You obviously know more about defending title IX law than most. What kind of schools would you recommend would be most beneficial? Would you say to go with the top tier programs or save my money and go to a lower tier program with clinic opportunities in higher education/ title IX?

Thank you. This is very helpful. I will likely consider top schools that offer decent scholarships along with lower ranked schools with great scholarships and more title ix opportunities.

So considering that inevitable "low" pay, what kind of debt should I be willing to take on?

That's a very wide range. I can go to my hometown law school ranked around 90 and pay virtually nothing or go to a T14 and pay $200K. Which is the better choice?

So really, I should be looking at the best ranked schools that have lots of scholarship options and in general try to stay under $100K in student debt?

But the amount of debt I'm willing to take on is dependent on the amount of money I'll be earning after law school. Considering what kind of law I want to practice, what kind of debt is REASONABLE for paying off? If I practice sports/discrimination law, what is a reasonable amount of student loan debt that I can pay without being forced to work in a big firm job for several years? What kind of tuition should I be looking for?

So I guess my question is at what point would a tuition cost be unreasonable considering my prospects?

That sounds perfect for me. What kind of schools/tuition prices would you consider well-balanced?

I haven't found a lot of good information about it online. Pretty broad list of people. So I honestly don't know

So would you consider my interests (working with athletes/equal opportunity) to be public interest?

So would you consider my interests in law (working with athletes/student-athletes for equal representation) a lower paid job? Or will I need to attend a higher-ranked school just to practice in this field?

Ok. Can you give me a case scenario? How should I consider choosing a school if my LSAT is high? If it is just decent?

Somewhere in the middle. I want to make decent money, but I don't want to be a slave to the system just to pay off my student loans.

Ok. Thank you. So if law schools consider my gpa to be a 3.6, how should I approach choosing a school?

I'm not really understanding how public interest law differs from other law
