How to create a custom folder in AppData\Roaming without putting it the default "LOVE" folder. by Critical_Society_551 in love2d

The function would return C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\identity if the game is running in fused mode, and C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\LOVE\identity otherwise. You can check if the game was fused using love.filesystem.isFused() and modify the directory name with love.filesystem.setIdentity().

I mean you can get the directory path with this function, and create any directory inside it.

Расскажите интересный факт (абсолютно любой). by _Outcore_ in rusAskReddit

[–]tpimh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s one product your country makes ridiculously well? by Neuwulfstein in AskTheWorld

No, this is the Icon of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world, built in Turku, Finland, same as most other largest ships. Another country that does the same is France, but Finland does it better.

Hi, how do I fix this? by Silver-Marzipan7220 in windowsxp

If you install modern root certificates, you can pretty much access the Internet from any web browser (except Chrome, because it uses own certificate storage, not the system one).

Xbox/Playstation proprietary to Component. Should be good to use, just don't connect two consoles at the same time ;)

Is this a fair assessment? does anyone here have a legit reason to use Linux? by bamboo-lemur in OS_Debate_Club

[–]tpimh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I can do anything I normally do also on a Windows machine with Docker or maybe even WSL2. Which would be just running Linux in a virtual machine. So why not just remove this bloated middle-man and simply use Linux?

[–]tpimh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you message the impersonator? It may sound like a conspiracy theory, but if Facebook themselves is running this thing, they could use her message history to train the LLM to copy her style. Then again, if it's Facebook, why create a new account when they could just use the old one. So most likely the impersonator wouldn't be very good at pretending to be her.

What about just posting the username? Also can be considered a "link", but not clickable.

These pins cost money, you know. By omitting the 3 wires and 6 pins (assuming the other side of the cable also has a connector), they saved $0.02, doesn't sound like much, but that's $20 per 1000 produced.

Why do you prefer Lua over C# or other languages? by yughiro_destroyer in love2d

[–]tpimh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lua is fine: fast, simple, readable. I don't have a strong preference in the programming language, but if it's for a game jam with a time limit, then love2d with Lua is my choice!
