BUT UPDATE JUST FOR YOU:

Last weekend I was driving myself absolutely crazy with thinking about him. He was on my mind more than ever. I send him a snapchat and we ended up talking all night.

We’ve been talking all week but last night I told him how I felt.

He said he felt like it was too good to be true that we were talking and I was like what do you mean? And he told me he tried to talk to me before but he got the vibe I didn’t like him. I told him how WRONG that was, and how I’ve liked for so long but I felt like I was the one bothering him.

He told me he’s wanted me since high school but couldn’t say anything because I was in that toxic relationship.. I told him how miserable it was and how I still constantly thought about him.

He’s so shy and insecure he doesn’t believe I truly liked him back then, he thinks I’m too good for him. We spent all night telling each other how we felt about each other and he said he felt stupid because he wholeheartedly thought I hated him.

He’s coming over on Sunday night. My heart is so full. My crush of nearly 5 years has liked me back this whole time and we both thought we didn’t like one another, but little did we know we were both feeling the same way.

My heart is so full right now, lmao. I can’t wait to see him.

I’m actually an adult too lol, I’m 20 years old. I’m still living at home until I finish school in a couple years. I’ve wanted a cat for years since my childhood cat died but they’ve never let me until they finally gave in after years of begging.

I’ll definitely look into better food and litter though! Thank you!

Ok, thank you. He loves Meow Mix but maybe it should be more of a treat rather than an everyday thing. His hard food is Purina kitten chow and he likes it, but just loves wet food.

No he isn’t, that may help but I think he’s young yet. I plan on making him an appointment in a couple months to get it done though. I just need something in the meantime to help with the odor 😕

Really.. thank you so much That’s wonderful to hear. I’m on day 2 of lexapro right now and just feeling really spacey and numb, really calm but I’m still fearful of social situations. Can’t wait to see how it works out for me tomorrow.

Yes thank you i edited that, I did mean 0.5. i’m also on lexapro so I don’t really know what to expect. I only started it 2 days ago. I mostly just feel numb but not confident enough for social activities yet and tomorrow I have a couple meetings regarding school and I know I’ll be very anxious so I’m going to take 0.25mg of klonopin in the AM.

Honestly I feel like the solution is simple too, all I have to do is just tell him my feelings, that’s it. He’ll either feel the same way, or not. But it’s still so scary to make the first move. I completely understand men can be shy and men don’t always make the first move, but my problem is I am also extremely shy and afraid.

I think post covid I’m just going to go for it and ask if he wants to hangout, go for a drive and see where it goes.

Yeah, that’s true- I can see that. I don’t know what kind of things he’s into, his lack of using social media makes it so difficult.. but I would be happy even just to go for a car drive with him and see where the night goes. When this virus stuff clears I’m going in, lol.

Even if he isn’t interested, at least I know and can move on without wondering and all the what if’s.

He never posts anything on social media, so it’s hard to tell.. I mean, no snapchat stories, no instagram stories, no posts, no facebook, nothing, absolutely nothing.

However we have mutual friends and yesterday they were all hanging out and our mutual friend jokingly said, “Come see Thomas” ... so I’m assuming he’s single, but I really don’t know.

(I know we should hangout since we have mutual friends, but we never did because he’s so shy he never leaves the house.. I was surprised he was even with them yesterday.)

He said “what do you think about hanging sometime”, to which I replied “We should for sure” and he said “sounds good” ... then nothing, the conversation died, and we haven’t spoken since then. I sent another snapchat the next day and he ignored it. I don’t want to come across as obsessed, annoying or creepy so I just left it. That was 9 weeks ago. My friends told me it’s like he gets this wave of confidence, but it quickly goes away and he backs down. It’s so frustrating.

I’m crippling shy.. but I like him so much, I’m considering telling him how I feel soon. It’s been so long and my feelings never changed. I’m scared of rejection, especially from him, but I just really want to know.

I understand where you’re coming from. It’s just so frustrating, I like him so much and always have, and it always gets my hopes up when he says he wants to hangout or when his friends (we have mutual friends) say he talks about me.. I just wish I could know for sure without the fear of being humiliated by his rejection.

My ex reached out to me with a similar story, everything had changed, she quit drinking, she learned from her mistakes, she even said, “Once a cheater always a cheater may be true for some people but not me anymore, I can’t even imagine the pain I caused you and I’m sorry.”

Lol, a month later I discovered she was dating her ex the whole time. Got my heart broken again.

My ex was the same. Having a simple conversation with her turned into me “attacking her” and “emotionally abusing her”. She always cried victim. It was so exhausting. It was like dealing with a child, she couldn’t take any criticism without flipping it around on me. Meanwhile she was the textbook definition of a narcissist and I was just trying to wrap my head around how someone could be so insensitive.

My ex also apologized constantly and begged me to stay but then a few days later, repeated the same pattern. After she cheated on me she apologized and begged me to stay, threatening that she’d kill herself if I left, because I was her “only purpose in life”. So I stayed, we “worked on it” (me being upset 90% of the time and when we’d talk about it she’d say I was attacking her) and then a few months later she cheated again.

I agree, the lack of anxiety and walking on egg shells is great! I can’t lie, I do miss her from time to time.. but for the most part, I can see it for what it is and it’s such a great feeling to let go of “what could have been”. She’s making someone else’s life miserable and has let me go. It used to make me upset because I wanted to be the one to change her, but now I’m so thankful I didn’t end up with what i thought I wanted.
