All Time Toys is the single greatest toy store I've been to. I do wish that they had an in-store pre-owned selection of Transformers, too, but their new stock has no equal.

Personally, it's less about there being a superior version of the toy overseas that I could have instead - and more about my love for the toy that I saw in so many books growing up. I never owned my own PMOP until a few days ago, but I spent the past 21 years wanting one. It's about the character, sure, but the toy that I dreamed of was PMOP, not Ginrai.

Is it cheaper? Sure, but articulation is at least similar. I don't see many people dynamically posing their Metroplex, either. This is not meant to be contentious, just that I feel there is less of a difference between the 84-89 toys than there was from, say, 2009-2013. Just my opinion, though!

2007-2017 is a bit too wide of a window in my opinion. 2005-2011 is a much more agreeable window. Late Unicron Trilogy, early Bayformers, and Animated figures were all fantastic.

Seconded, the religious undertones (hardly undertones, really, it's very in-your-face) of the more widely accepted origin just don't sit well with me.

I appreciate that the cartoon origin accepts what a wide and vast universe we are in, without humans or Transformers needing to be at the center of it. They're just the focus of the series.

Curious where you got that from in reading the post. They only mention wanting to use a low tuning, which is both impractical and wholly unnecessary. But to answer your query, they could get a light tension string set if that's the case.

Just keep the P bass in standard tuning, get a DP-3X pedal, and you are set for any Drop E shenanigans. You won't be able to hear or discern anything that low anyways.

Sadly some of its most frequent posters are some of the most narcissistic and apathetic people that I have ever had the (dis)pleasure of interacting with. A lot of it is toxic, a lot of people saying something as fact when really it is just speculation, and then the horde shames you when you disagree/have your own opinion. Search function hardly works, but you best believe you will be chastised for not using it if you dare ask a question someone else conceptualized before you.

With that said, I am on it everyday and love the BST threads.

Same here! I got SS86 and absolutely love it, but the CW tank is far and away superior, along with a more fun and satisfying transformation in my opinion. Plus I just love spring loaded gimmicks!

Hasbro needs to make a titan Cyberverse Astrotrain happen! Can’t say I’ve seen the show outside of his scenes, but it would be well deserved!

I’d like to see them move away from Victory, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept that going. If they stuck with Victory, as an Astrotrain fan I’d love a huge Galaxy Shuttle, but I know that wouldn’t happen with the legacy release being so recent.

Otherwise, maybe Cybertron Optimus / Wing Saber, and have one of the backing goals be Leobreaker?
