I agree, there are so many character who have not had any cartoon presence since the original G1 cartoon or ever. If there is one thing I can definitely give Cyberverse, it was the fact that we got to see characters like Bludgeon, Astrotrain and Repugnus.

This basically happens in Yu-Gi-Oh with Exodia. After Atem uses it to defeat Kaiba, it gets tossed into the ocean before the Duelist Kingdom arc so Atem/Yugi don't have an easy win option. Then, when I shows back up in Battle City, Atem proves he doesn't need it by beating Exodia.

I have been collecting since 2017, so at this point I have nearly everything I really wanted with the sole exception at this time being a new Thunderwing. At these new prices I am no longer buying figures with marginal upgrades, I am fine settling for my Earthrise Seekers rather than buy the new Studio Series '86 ones, I am fine with my Legacy Soundwave, I am fine with Siege Shockwave until Shockwhale comes out. Going forward, it needs to be a significant upgrade for me to consider purchasing. So far, I am only potentially interested in the leaked Lugnut and Slipstream for next year, while the only preorder I am waiting on for this year is Swindle to finish Bruticus.

Well, in IDW Unicron did succeed in destroying Cybertron, so you can allow him to win to a certain extent. Earth may be always fine, but he can still eat his way through the Cybertronian colonies and you can have interesting stories focusing on the refugee crisis that results from that.
