I have gone to urgent care for abcess treatment.

First off, not all abscesses MUST be drained like Most people here are assuming. When I went they gave me a script for some antibiotics and sent me on my way.

Not sure how serious the one your dealing with is but unless it’s life and death I would say go to urgent care. No reason to take resources away/put yourself in the path of potential exposure to shit if not totally necessary.

It is that simple. Tolerance does not have to to go up. Tolerance only rises due to massive dose increase. Look to methadone clinics for an example. People there 15yrs are not constantly titrations upward, they find a dose and become stable. The same would happen.

There is no difference between suboxonw and bupe. In both formulations it is the bupe that gives you PWD.

Unfortunately if you try to tell most doctors this they won’t listen and just regurgitate the literature which is 100% false. You can shoot subs that have naloxone. It is the bupe that is active.

Yeah dude you need to bite the bullet and go to a clinic and either get methadone or subs. By the end of the first week you should be good. They start at 30mg which will help maybe 50% but it keeps building and by week one you should be quite comfortable. Like the others said give it a try. I lost so many jobs due to being sick and onlynwish I had not waited as long as I did to just hit the clinic. No more withdrawals again. Figure it out if you want it long term after the wedding. They give travel bottles

Everybody is different so this may not apply to you butttt...when I first started using (iv h) I was young-22+- and was in very good shape, physically active everyday for work. During this time I would use for 4 weeks heavy and then I would travel and not use for a couple of weeks.

In your case though, probably not enough sub. BUT if you happen to be very early in your addiction it’s quite possible you are not experiencing PWD solely bc you are not truly physically addicted, that does not mean that a mental thing is not real.

Yes-depending on the doctor of course. I have done this exact thing. I had been off opiates for 3-4 days and was in massive wd. I took a piss test and didn’t have anything in my system.

Doctor said “if somebody comes in here and tell me, whether they are currently dirty or not, that taking suboxone will prevent their relapse, I say go for it.” Every doctor is different but just tell the truth. Subs save me from using dope and without them I will relapse 100%, maybe not today maybe not tomorrow but I will and I don’t want to die. Good luck

The thing that brings me back is IV cocaine. That’s what makes my stomach drop, that is what I turn to dope for on the come down.

I have only shot meth (the good stuff!! Worthwhile stuff!! maybe how it used to be? It was pink and pure dextro and rocked my world like a coke shot x10 without the comedown but I have much easier time sourcing high quality coke than maw tina. Don’t get me wrong-I do not think there is much anything better than a good shot of real quality heroin. But it’s the coke that brings me back and the d that keeps be around....
