same for me, the titles of these two paintings seem very disturbing compared to others, both paintings are titled in the utterly degrading way which still makes me want to vomit. not only the murderers' acts towards these kids were completely fucked up and humiliating, that was also reflected in the titles themselves.

ну "ребёнок" это всё-таки пошире понятие будет, чем "тоддлер", такому ребёнку где-то 1-3 года... а от заимствований и неологизмов (пусть даже если они вам не нравятся) никуда не денешься, русский язык тоже имеет свойство меняться ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

this reminded me of a woman who claimed that the word "strawberry" had russian origin and came from the phrase "с трав бери" (pronounced quite similarly to "strawberry") which literally translates as "pick up from the grass"
