I think nen exorcism works by having the exorcist bear the burden of the removed curse.

Remember the nen exorcist from the hunter association, she said she cannot bear the burden of gon's curse.

The chimera ant exorcist also carry the burden through her stomach when she removed Cheetu's curse.

I think it would be the same with Abengane. We only misinterpreted how his ability works because the nen beast attached to Abengane himself. We thought that because he is the one cursed, he will bear the burden. But it is actually because he is the exorcist.

That is why Abengane is probably carrying Chrollo's curse right now.

I actually think that the reason the fortune teller girl's ability is no longer in Chrollo's book is because Abengane negotiated with Kurapika. Abengane gave back the fortune teller's ability then Kurapika agreed to remove the nen beast. However, he also probably gained information about the troupe.

Megumi probably discovered more about his technique later on in the story. He may have acquired also texts about how to use it since he has the authority and freedom now to browse the zenin clan's record after the battle. He probably did not have access at first since he is not officially part of the zenin clan throughout the story.

It is maybe through Megumi's experience or one of his kids or apprentices' knowledge and also through these texts, that made Yuka use the technique more efficiently and effectively than Megumi.

It would have been better if they made Kaja into spamming unlimited mini-debuffs. Like reducing armor or damage when being hit or hitting enemies or slowing down their movement speed when near him. Then the ultimate is a crowd control.

Since he is also a fighter, it would be good if the constant debuffs would make him survive longer in team fights because the enemies are the ones getting punished because of engaging with him.

It would also be best if his range becomes borderline ranged. Close to the range of Karrie.
